  • You may be eligible for insurance-covered lactation consultations through Wildflower Health (Cigna)

    They handle the paperwork and bill your insurance company directly.

    I offer private, in-home & virtual lactation consultations in South & West area of Austin, Texas. My service areas include

    If you happen to be outside the service area, please reach out. We will let you know if we can come to you or not and a $40 travel fee may apply.

  • Initial Consult (90 minutes) In-Home/Office- $450

    • Assessment of both the mother and baby

    • Breast assessment of mother

    • Latch/positioning

    • Feeding observation

    • Pumping and flange fit, if applicable

    • Oral assessment of baby

    • Pre/Post frenectomy care, if applicable

    • Milk Supply Management

    • Personalized Care Plan

    Initial visit includes one follow up visit

    Follow-up Consult (90 minutes) In-Home/Office- $200

    • Reassessment of breastfeeding from prior visit

    • Return to work

    • Post-Frenectomy care

    • Milk Supply Management

    • Revision of current Care Plan as needed

    • Prenatal Consult (60 minutes) In-Home/Office- $150

      • Discuss:

        • Feeding goals

        • Normal newborn feeding behaviors

        • Expected breast changes after birth

        • Milk production basics

        • Latch/positioning

        • Hand expression technique

        • Skin-to-skin benefits

    Prenatal visits are encouraged for all expectant mothers, especially if you have a history of breast surgeries, breastfeeding difficulties with previous children, health conditions impacting reproductive or hormone systems, expecting multiples or have special circumstances that you are concerned may impact breastfeeding.

    Return to Work Planning (60 minutes) In-Home/Office- $150

    • Pumping & Flange fitting

    • Create a customized pumping and feeding plan

    • Discuss other issues related to return to work and feeding goals

    Note:

    All self-pay visits include

    • A Superbill

    • A follow up telehealth video, email or phone call check-in via portal (15 minutes) per paid visit as needed.

    For families of Multiples: Consults are extended additional 30 minutes with added cost of $50 per additional infant to accommodate additional needs. This will be reflected in your Superbill.

    (ex: A mothers of triplets has 2 additional babies, thus the scheduled visit will be extended 60 minutes with additional cost of $100.)

    1 Birth Rite of Passage Reflection Session

    10% discount for postpartum classes

    2 additional follow up telehealth video or phone call via portal (15 minutes)

    Cost: $1500 (value $1700)

A La Carte Options

  • Birth Rite of Passage Reflection sessions provide an opportunity to fully embrace and capture the childbirth experience. It allows for celebration within the full spectrum of emotions during this sacred rite of passage.

    This reflection experience occurs over two 60 minute visits:

    The first visit is a focused Q&A session discussing the details of the pregnancy, birth and early postpartum time.

    The second visit includes a presentation of the summarized experience, including a written record of this rite of passage and a special personalized keepsake.

    Cost: $500

    NOTE: This offering is NOT intended as therapy of any kind. It is not a substitute for any other services by professional health care providers. Additional support may be beneficial to explore the physical &/or emotional experiences of the childbearing continuum. Please discuss any health or emotional needs with your primary care providers.

  • In honor of the mothers in need of lactation support while grieving the devastating loss of an infant, compassionate bereavement lactation services is available at no cost to the families.

    These services assist any lactating mother experiencing a pregnancy or infant loss, exploring her options as she completes her current lactation journey.

    Donations to help cover the cost of this service are welcome and can be offered here.
